I just picked up a 1985 21' Scarab I with a 350 and alpha 1. The Boat had 163 hours on it when I bought it. Just wanted to check in and say hi and introduce myself.

Ill put up some pictures in about 2 weeks, I had all the seats recovered and painted the dash, new gauges, stereo and wheel. should look a lot nicer when i'm done.

Nice boat. I have sold mine and are looking for an SCS. I really liked my 21. It had an ZZ4 crate engine which made it quite fast. I made new windshields out of 4 mm lexan and had the interior redone. Perfect boat for fast oneday trips.

I have seen a couple 29s with twin small blocks and thought that may be a cool set up

It has twin 350 Magnum mpi with Bravos. Imco steering and Kiekhaefer trimtabs. 253 hours on it. I havent driven it yet. I just changed all oils and both impellers etc. I will probably put it in water next month.
