Karen bought one two weeks ago and we got to use it for the Raft-up yesterday and used it at a family party today...

great underwater pics even though it was a cloudy day...

good till one atomosphere depth... 33 feet.

I found that camera just recently too. My first thought was how cool to have the underwater pics.

Guess you found it too. :bigsmile:

I found it on sale online a couple of weeks ago for $359 w/ free shipping, which means you can probably get it for $259 now. :) It goes to 10 MP, but these pics were snapped @ 3MP in order to save space on the memory card. It's also crush-proof, shock-proof, and freeze-proof, but I don't remember the specific specs. It will be a great camera for all types of travel.

The only draw-back is the optical zoom is limited since the camera lens doesn't extend. It works well for parties when you're not too far from your subjects, but it wasn't great for shooting boats at a distance during our poker run. It has a true 28 mm lens (28-102 mm), which is nice for wide-angle shots, and once I figure out the panorama mode, that will be a cool feature too.
