If anyone out there is near the North Texas area, I invite you to check out PK. This is my stomping grounds, lots of cool boats, tanned women and cold drinks to be had!
If ever in the area, give me a yell, be glad to meet up with you and chill awhile. Hell`s Gate is the hang-out place of the lake.

Would you beleive we have em around here too?:laugher: I got home last night wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy late about 3 or so I think it was and when I came around the corner of the shop there stands purvis the possum.....damn thing scared the crap out of me, it was dark and I was sorta drunk and he hissed and really put on a show......as he waddled off into the woods.........

I'm a PK lake rat myself!!! To whomever is reading this, if you make the trip to Possum Kingdom, you'll never want to go back home! Donman its almost time, I've been out there several times already, but really looking forward to Memorial Day weekend. Oh and the beer and the women etc. etc. etc.

It is across the street from Red Dogs if you know that place. I believe the Rd is Park Rd 36.

Yeah, I think your right. I know exactly where its at (Red Dogs). Our place is down that same road a little ways, pretty close to Bug beach. All this talk has me jones'in for the lake!

possum kingdon info

we are looking to do a bachelor party on PK over labor day. we have spent several other holidays on travis in devils cove and had a great time. Lots of boats, lots of beautiful women, etc... PK would be best for labor day as it would allow us ability to hunt sunday and monday. How's the party at Hells gate? is it off the hook crazy like travis or very tame and older patrons?

Great idea: Hunt 2 legged creatures Friday / Saturday and hunt Dove Sunday / Monday !!!!

The party at Hell`s Gate is usually pretty tame compared to other places, but it`s all fun.
The BRA (Brazos River Authority) can be true "Penis Heads" at times, but they are just looking out for the safety of all.

Where are you hunting?

I`m excited to hear of that. Of course my boat is too small when the water gets all nasty from all of those other boats. But of course if you are out front, nothing but smooth water......
