That is a sweet boat. Is that a KV hull? I heard most or some of Wellcrafts larger Scarabs had KV hulls.

NO I don't think so, its a 1995 hull, then they made the AVS hull soon after mine...

I am looking at purchasing a 38 Excel Scarab. Do they have a deep hull comparable to a Fountain or Baja.

You mean a Deep Vee? Yes
Or if you mean room? Yes, bigger than a fountain, Baja's or huge inside though. Scarabs are better in the rough stuff than a Haha... But Fountains are faster. The older Excel's are pretty much pigs, slow, but comfortable.

I don't know, but maybe about 6 psi would be better??
