I heard there was something going on Sat. at Sacandaga. Is there any truth to this rumour? I know there is always something happening, but an organized event? Was I not invited to play? :unhappy1:

Stop by. I'll run around too. I hope it is sunny this weekend. Around 4:00 o'clock the sun came out at my house last Sunday. I ended up staying home working on stuff the whole weekend.
Yeah I hear ya, this weekend sucked so I blew off work yesterday and hit the water around 2 or so. Real nice day.

Does it make sense to put the Hammer in at Sacandaga then take it out Monday morning to go up to Lake George? :confused1 I have'nt received my mooring gear yet from Overtons. I want to make sure I'm prepared. Also, I don't have any Corona to pay my entrance fee to RJ! :laugher:

ZT and IT had bumpers/fenders for sale very nicely priced...or I can probably lend you a couple...all you really need are some some dock lines...(3/8's braided line as a minimum) It is no big deal to pull a 22footer out at the marina and haul it over to Lake George for a day...If I was you I would put it in Sacandaga by or before the weekend and then just haul it over for the day on Monday to Lake George. :D

Mostly been cans of Bud Lite or Mich Lite at the dock... the illegal immigrant issue seemed to have dampened the enthusiasm for Corona....(but if you bring it and it is cold I'll bet it gets drank) :D

YES it makes sense, I put my boat in and out every time I run. Just bring the hammer down for the day then put it in for good next week. Summers are too short and you need to run that sucker as much as possible! :D
BTW I think you still need to briung the coronas no matter what......

Yeah Mike, I just went up there today with my 21ft. Hammer. Seasonal is $861. Boats have to be out by Oct. 17. Monthly came to $1100 and something. No brainer there. The owner is cool, the water is deep, picnic area, good launch, nice docks, and did I mention the crazy guy at the one end of the dock? :laugher: There are a few slips left. I've got more info if you need it. Just PM me. Oh yeah, you should come up because that would make YOU the rookie. I would give up my title of beer boy to you! :laugher: SWEET!

Best part is I don't drink beer! However several of my close friends do and will help you boys drink til the weee hrs of the morning. I'm a Jamieson man personally :) I will definitely look into it for next season as I have a place over in Caroga but it's a bit small for the Baja. Currently I bounce between NYC/Caroga and then trailer over to Northville.

Trojan Express, I just realized my Hammer is next to your boat. HOLY CRAP! That is one hell of a ride! Makes mine look like a dingy! :laugher: I can't wait to see that thing run! :D
:laugher: :laugher: Yep, I saw your good lookin Hammer at the dock in a slip over by my Checkmate...we will have to tip a beer or two this weekend...Sea Breeze is also there...it is the 10 Meter Express Cruiser that is in Slip 1... Every once in a while I have cold beer in a cooler and tunes cranking on the stereo...hell sometimes we even leave the dock. :D
Welcome to Beer Harbor :jeff: :beers: :jeff:

Thanks Dave for the compliment. My wife Jen, my 1yr. old son Chris, and I are cruising up Sat. morning. We're going to get a couple of hours in before I have to go to work. :angry1: Ah yes, the life of a railroader! :angry1: Maybe in the next 15 years I can get weekends off. :unhappy1: Anyway, I look forward to meeting the founders of BEER HARBOR. I will bring the ice cold ones!
