Sacandaga Pretty Quiet This Weekend

I saw alot of Boat Traffic Sat evening when the winds died down and Sunday out past sinclair point... However Not really to many Boats on the mooring yet..

I think the weather Monday had alot to do with it.... blowing pretty good & chance of thunderstorms... kept me on the trailer....

I was out with the Formula for some feeling out runs Sunday and Monday. Didn't stray too far from the marina just in case. After losing 60+ HP with the new engine, I was very satisfied with the way it performed. Didn't run it hard, fastest was 66 MPH. I might play with it some more Friday afternoon..

Sorry Jim, I made as much noise as I could but only made it by your place once...

Tied up in Mesquito bay on Monday cause of the wind and burnt a good amount of fuel on Sunday. I noticed lots on pontoons out there it seemed.....Memorial Day weekend is always touch and go for people, the water is still cold and with the rainouts every weekend recently lots of people probably werent reay, I know I was working on the boat all day Friday and Saturday to be ready for the second half.....

It was quiet on our end too. My son got a boat and went through three 18 gallon tanks. It's a little Checkmate. The Sheriff stopped him already and warned him for recklass driving. He called porpoising recklass. He was going slow. That's why it was porpoising. The guy said it looked like he was going to flip it over backward.

I just used the pontoon boat. I'll be picking my weekends to use the Warlock. I love the boat but it burns way to much gas. It takes the fun out of it when you pay 300 dollars for a few rides. Anyone want it? Maybe my next boat will have a 4-stroke outboard.
