our last group of the day, a very nice family who actually enjoyed being hung up on a mound of mud with us for about 20 minutes. The Bay has a lot of shallow spots, and we unknowing came off plane right in the middle of one to help another boat. We had to signal other boats to stay away from us... it was quite a sight w/ 4 or 5 boats circling us until a jet skier carried our tow line to a center console a safe distance away. One tug and we were off... the family really enjoyed their extra long ride, and couldn't wait to tell their story when they got back... great people!

Jeff, Karen and Zach,

Thank you so much for making the trip up and supporting this event. Until you experience it, you just cannot explain the feeling you get out of doing this event to others...

I normally would have been one of the last to leave, but there was a wedding I had to attend. Sorry I missed you guys in the morning.

If anyone needs more information and wants to checkout more photos from previous years, here is my link:

Jeff, Karen and Zach, Thank you so much for making the trip up to the Barnagate Bay. The club and most of all the Kids really appreciate it. I had a great time with you and your family on your awesome OL. I'm putting it on my Christmas list this year. I was very happy to help out with the local waters and wish I could have shown you more of the sites on the bay. I look forward to seeing all of you at ROCK THE BAY in Sept.

The Dawg!

Jeff, Karen and Zach it was great to have you guys up here. The Kids love this and if it wasn't for folks like you helping, this event will never be.
We also had a good time at Petes house. and this is a Quote from my wife: If Jeff ever gives you that mustard again you better go sleep with him" After the first dip of that Super Hot Stuff that almost made me pass out. I took a likeing to it and dipped a few more, Needless to say I found my wife the next morning sleeping on the couch WOW that must have been some strong stuff :)
But as I said to Her its all Good!
See you in September we will be bringing the Donzi down for the run.
Frank PS: Melissa says hello.

Tom Healy made that mustard - that stuff was righteous!

From the 2008 Shore Dreams For Kids Team - THANK YOU!!

I am proud to report that the 2008 Shore Dreams For Kids was a HUGE SUCCESS!!!

And Thank You to ESCAPED LUATIC for making the pilgrimage from Maryland for the day. We thoroughly enjoyed having you guys!

The reason why it was a such a huge success was because the hard work and dedication of the principal organizers:

Pete Mazzo, Rob Cline, Brian Meade, Val Fiorillo & Geralyn Monroe

and the generosity of all of the sponsors, donors, land and boat volunteers, car clubs, boat racers, local Elks Clubs, Special Olympics and all other attendees!

There are pictures available online for your viewing pleasure thanks to www.sharkey-images.com and www.speedwake.com

Some Shore Kids For Dreams highlights this year:
* Raised enough money to cover the event!
* Record amount of items donated to auction off to raise money!
* Over 5 Elks lodges attending!
* Over 60 cars for the car show!
* Had boat displays on land from Typhoon Service Center, OPA and the East Coast Boat Racing Club of New Jersey!
* Over 750 "special attendees" & chaperones!
* Over 30 boats providing rides!

We also had Todd Taylor of Performance Boats Magazine on hand to shoot footage for a video special that will be featured on www.performanceboats.com

This year was without a doubt our best year yet and we have all that were involved to thank! There are 750 special people who still have smiles plastered on their faces today that are counting 363 more days until next year's event!
