Okay, the picture quality is not - trying to work on that.

The Speedwake store now has these , so I can now finally throw up some pics and answer questions if anyone has some.

In the meantime, just sit back, look at the pic, and grunt like Tim Allen for a few seconds.

This pic is a 1" aluminum for Dominator (grunt, grunt) carbs.

Last one for tonight (there's many more) just to show spacers are not generic and must not be treated that way or dismal results will happen for sure.

This one is for squarebore carbs on dual plane intakes with Totally divided plenums.

The Street Sweeper 'Dash 2'

SBC Vortec fans - like the intake ?:alien: It is cast iron. Shhh.

Cool looking-Do they work?
Big Block Engine Masters Challenge - almost everybody ran them !

This is the $50,000 prize for the MOST USABLE power from engines being built around a long list of rules - octane, cid, exhaust, cyl head, etc, etc.

I provide a ton of'm to dyno operators and engine builders - not just parts shops.

I get calls all the time with real info -

'We got 18hp'
'We got 12hp'
'We got 20ft/lbs'
'We got 12 ft/lbs'
'We need 'X' more'
yada
yada

It's one of those parts that you buy and stop staying awake at night wondering if there is some spacer out there that will make more power.

These are it.

You get it.

You stop having to think about it.

Time to stay awake at night thinking about other parts. :laugher: :laugher:

Seriously though.

so its like the super sucker that the dyno guys put on my engine when they put them up on the dyno.
I gained a few HP by doing this thats why I have them on my engine now.
Granted mine are Mr Gasket brand though.

I use one on my 350 TBI tahoe... the first time i went on the highway I was using my foot instead of the cruise control... long story short... the engine shut off on me, I was going WAY too fast (pegged the speedo) and my speed limiter kicked in , RPM were still very low. I did not even realize I was going that fast, the truck gained so much low end torque it just keep accelerating while in OD... huge difference towing the boat.

If it said 'Super Sucker' - than yes it is it, not just like it.

Sorry, MR G does not make an equivalent. Some may look like it - Wilson's being the closest - but don't make as much power. See example of dyno graph in the Speedwake store.

Do you make one to replace the old spreadbore / squarebore converter on my stock 330 454? I do not want to spend money on a new carb or new intake, but if your have a spacer I would be willing to do that.
No, reason is there is no design that can really make this 'wrong intake for carb or wrong carb for intake' design.

Going from a squarebore carb to the factory 4 hole quadrajet top is just plain pitiful.

The trick is to cut the top of the intake open to remove the 4 hole quadrajet bore pattern and make it open on both sides to resemble an aftermarket aluminum spreadbore intake.

Or for easier methods - just grab a Performer or Action Plus aluminum intake.

Either way will be well worth it.

Since you purchased this HVH has done liscensing with me on it and is now officially a 'Super Sucker' also.

Look familiar ?

Cfm,

What spacer would you suggest for my Bulldog motors. I have the stock 1' spacer on there now. They have the Dart intakes with Holley 800. The carbs were reworked last week. They are now flowing 930 cfm. Should I go with a 1' or jump up to the 2'. What do you think I might gain or loose from using one of these spacers. Also, do they make one for a 2003 6.0L motor for my truck?

The SS4150-1A. It is 1" high. You could go to the 2" with your cubes but it prob won't be as effective as the 1" unless a better breathing roller cam and better breathing heads are installed. You won't lose power with the 2" - but again the 1" will be better for your application.

BTW: I thought you where just rebuilding or recalibrating your carbs? Guess not ! :laugher:

No, we don't - these engines don't respond with spacers.

Programming, though, can do wonderful things for these 6.0's. I can hook you up with a programmer that does great things with these if you want - let me know and I'll give you his phone #.

CFM,

I was going to just have them rebuilt, But the mechanic that I use was showing me that I had 2 jets that were plugged and the power valves were blown out and also there was a (flame preventer( I cant remember exactly what it is ) was bad. The guy that did the work retired from holley. He bored them, removed the airhorns, chokes, added a 4 corner idle, rejetted them. He basically did the works for me for 200.00. The motors run real good. The only thing I am haveing a problem with is the Port motor idles and runs in gear at 750 rpm and never dies. The starboard motor runs at 1000rpm at idle and in gear runs at 750 rpm. It will want to start loading up faster then the port motor and die. What do you think. I am going to go today to get the spec's that he built the carbs to. I hope it will tell us more. PM me with the guys number for the reprogramming.

What do you expect from me since I'm not really an average person.

If you want average well...............

Hell, B2B you don't know anything about average either so I'll stop mumbling about something we both don't understand. :laugher: :laugher:
