:(Someone hit my truck:(
I Didn't notice it till Saturday. I was haveing another yard sale and was sitting back in my cahir chilling when i noticed something wrong with the bumper:mad:
Musta happed at Wal-Mart or the convienence store:mad:
Why are people such jerks that they couldn't leave a note with their ins info or at least say sorry. This is a 2009 Ram CrewCab Hemi with 18k miles on it.
My deductable equals the damage so I'll fix it my self.
There's a little white paint on the tail light and the quarter in front of it. But I can buff that out.

I had that happen way back when. I had what was my most cherished auto ever (STILL). 1979 Trans Am, I was showing it to sell it, and the buyer sees that the front passenger corner has been hit. OH NO!! Turn out that it was the landlord where a friend and I lived, neighbors saw it and ratted him out. He tried like he__ to deny it until his wife could see that a beating was about to happen, she cracked, spilled the beans, they both went into tears and agreed to pay for repairs. Talk about a POS. Luckily I had worked at a body shop and there was a SUPER painter there. He did a great job of helping me repair the front end, mixed and shot the nocturn blue paint to perfection. A-hole landlord asked that I visit his "buddy" for a second estimate. HA! Cross eyed bas+ard was still more than twice the cost I had been asked for. Never underestimate how $hi++y people can be.
During a freezing rain / glare ice storm, I slow motion bumped the rear bumper of a neighbors Chevy truck about 10-12 years back. In their 80's now, they still tell the story of how "sweet" I was leaving a note and then returning on foot (cause it was obviously too dang slippery to be driving) to tell them and make things right, during neighborhood get togethers. I do gotta admit, I knew I could have drove away free and clear, thought was in my mind about 1 second, then knew I would get mine someday if I did that. I also recalled what a POS landlord did to me a few years earlier, I just could sink myself that LOW!!

Good Luck with the fix, sorry to hear you got that.

People are azzholes, that is for sure. I had a similar thing happen to my wife's car. I'll never know WHERE it happened, looked like someone hit the front bumper with a tire or something.

I would recommend changing your comp deductible to $0. We did, only added $17.00 per 6 month to our policy.

A moving vehicle hit it so they call it collision. Deductable's 1k Bumper is about 700-800(my cost)I can fix the corner. The bumper will wait.
I'm still trying to imagine what hit it:confused:
I was also at Tractor Supply that week.

I wish!
I've backed into chit sober. I had bought a Durango some years back and had it for three days and backed into my mailbox stone sober.
Being a drunk idiot is one thing a sober idiot is quite another:eek:
I would just kick myself if I had done it and not post my stupidity on the internet.

Sister in Law just had her tires slashed when an entire neighborhood got vandalized. I was surprised that they didn't have a low or zero comp. policy also. Brother in Law handles their coverage. Even on my junk rides I have always kept minimal comp. deduc. figured broken glass (stone chipped windsheilds) and hitting deer would be worth it.

We live in a sub division with no side walks and mail boxes along the street. An older couple moved in across the street a couple years ago and they moved their mail box to the other side of their drive way which is now exactly down the centerline of my drive way. One day I noticed their mail box laying flat on the ground and checked all of our vehicles to see if the wife or son had hit it. Could find no indication that any our vehicles were involved. Went over and talked to the owner and told him that I noticed his mail box had been knocked down and from the direction it was laying, it appeared that someone backing out of our driveway must have hit it. I told him that it didn't appear to be any of our vehicles, but that I wanted to make every effort to keep peace among the neighbors and would be happy to pay for any damages. POS proceeded to jump my azz and said it was the third time it's been knocked down and that he had already been over to inspect all of our vehicles and also determined none of my vehicles were involved. A few days later he had a 4" dia. steel pipe set in and filled with concrete and no mail box. Come to find out the SOB has a PO box and doesn't even receive mail at the house. He set the steel and concrete pole to simply display his lot number and damage anyone's vehicle who backs out of our drive way a little too far.

Thats an odd ding... the bumper and under the tail light without braking the light, or scuffing the top plastic bumper. It sucks, but it's a truck, last two of mine had damage before I made the 1st payments.

My mother drove my wifes 03 quad cab Dakota up the guide wire of the pole in her front yard. Dad said the front tires were off the ground 2 feet, and she was looking behind her gassing it.:laugher:

Then I backed my 06 Ram into a concrete filled pipe in a parking lot, 3 weeks after I bought it. We still have both trucks, and they still have those battle scars. My point is that sucks, but in 10 years you'll have something else to drive, and this will be a mute point. Life is too short to worry about dents in trucks.
