First,,, return the NGK's,,, next, go to Wall Mart and buy a set of A/C Rapid Fire plugs, part #1, Next , gap them to .040 and install !!!!

The rapid fire was designed to heat up quicker at start up,,, when is the time most plugs begin fouling,, also more spark and complete burn,,, they helped the idle shake in my 4.3 Blazer, and cleaned up the transom on the boat. Been using them for 3 years,,, wont go back !!!

Take the NGK's back !! Couple extra gallons of gas,,, oh yeah,,, for the record,, the Rapids are stainless to,,, so no corrosion worries there either !!

AC Delco makes the Rapid Fire brand of spark plugs, you then identify the spark plug by the different numbers... go to your favorite parts store and tell them you want an AC Delco Rapid Fire #1. They will know what you are talking about...
