The 4th annual swamp run is quickly approaching, This year it will be hosted by NYS POWERBOAT Inc and The Old BoatHouse with Marks Leisure Time Marine as our main sponsor (http://www.leisuretimemarine.com/). This year the Swamp Run will be to benefit The Make A Wish Foundation, the reason we are doing this is because Smoke on The Water did a great job helping The Make A Wish and with the run no longer taking place we are stepping in to try to fill the void. Our goal is to have a SAFE fun filled day and allow some kids that normally would not have a chance to ride in boats that we take for granted as well as raise a ton of money for a GREAT cause. I wouldn't worry. A 25 AT will be a wave crusher.

Any size boat is welcome! Last year we had small boat award to a 16' Sea Ray Bowrider. Largest boat was 50'. Everybody can enjoy this run! As for no no spots, every lake has them. Nobody will be left behind to "find" their way. Slower than the fleet, breakdown, lack of knowledge, we will be sure you make the run!!

We here at NYS Powerboat Inc. want to make this run fun and safe for everyone. This is the fourth year for this event and it keeps growing each year. We are looking for a good turn out this year again and we hope to help out the Make-A-Wish foundation of Central New York in the process. We look foward to meeting some new people and making some new friends who enjoy the water as much as we do. Hope to see you all on August 2nd.

Not worried about the waves, mph & insurance amount.

You got 3 extra ft but I'll try. Only see mid to upper 60's and a best of 69 on fumes

I just got word that Wayne Schaldenbrand, President/CEO
Joe Schaldenbrand, Vice-President/CFO of "SUNSATION POWERBOATS" will be attending the 4th annual Swamp Run and bringing some of their new hardware to show off and run in the run.
