select * from users where clue > 0 - is called SQL. Structured Query Langauage and used by nearly all modern databases, such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MS Access, MySql, etc...
This forum use MySql

the '*' means all records
'users' is the database table name to search
'clue' is a field in the users table

Sure I come up with all kinds of cool features for the website, but every one of them has functional value and is designed to make your on-line experience better.
