No. Everyone has different needs and it was unfair to folks who boat to the event to have to bear the cost of ramp fees, trailer storage etc for others. I've done a lot of research and no one includes these fees in their event costs including the FPC, Jammin on the James, Lake Havasu Run, Thousand Islands etc.

It's one of the ways I was able to reduce the cost for everyone this year and reduce it dramatically.

Launching is $10, overnight storage of your trailer at the marina is $15/night. Dockage is $35/night. Many people arrive friday night and launch sat morning. a lot of people also pull their boats out of the water after the run on Sat afternoon because they head home sunday morning.

I'd like to thank Sunsation Boats for becoming a Sponsor of Rock The Bay 2010 and making arrangements to bring their F4.

In addition special thanks to Union Auto Glass for being the Rock The Bay 2010 Premier Sponsor and grabbing the front of the Tshirt this year.

and thank you to Mr.. Lou Perrone of A to Z Marine for becoming a sponsor also.

and finally to Shogren Performance Marine for also becomign a Rock The Bay 2010 Sponsor!

Everything but a Poker Hand. Poker Hands are $50 and ONLY available to captains or passengers in the run.

I've been to Poker Runs where people can walk in off the street and buy a dinner ticket and a poker hand and I don't think that's fair at all. I've even been to some where the organizers themselves take poker hands and I've seen an organizer actually win. :(

Please note:

Anyone registering or passengers added after August 12, 2010 are not guaranteed Rock The Bay events shirts. At the $250 registration price we cannot afford to purchase shirts for people who may or may not come.

Our shirt order must be submitted on August 12th and we will order a few extra shirts but there are no guarantees made to anyone registering after that date or adding passengers after that date that you'll get a shirt.

When the fee was $600 we could afford a supply of extra shirts, but not at $250 ....

so - get registered today if you want to be guaranteed an Event Shirt.

Hey all -

If you are short on cash this year, Janet and I would be glad to help. We're short on speed. We can't really do poker runs in our relatively slow cuddy cruiser. Take us along as bagage, and we'd be glad to cover your entire $250 entrance fee as well as help with fuel, too.

Nice - Thanks for the update Jeff...

Looking forward to it, the weather is looking awesome as well for the entire weekend.

:cool:Should Be a Great Time with Awesome Hardware, IMO the entrance fee is worth it just to be around some of these incredible machines and to watch them run.

if any one is staying on land in northeast md , please be careful and lock your stuff up, i was at the holiday inn express 8/21 and it seems there have been a series of breakins and on sunday 3am a few punks robbed the place(front desk) with guns. so please be extra carefull when out and about in the early am hours. im a light sleeper when away and my boat was in the lot in the past i have actually went outside to check on my boat ,again please be careful i dont want to over alarm people but according to the staff its been getting bad around that area. just wanted to give everyone a heads up on the situation

I Remember When a lot of boats and campers in North East were striped of there goods not to long ago. Not going to say where, but there were some people on speedwake that lost some stuff. It is just sad that we even have to talk about this.:(
