Question on my t-stat housing. I am switching from the stock 502MAG exhaust which has water entering the bottom and at the elbow to the Mercruiser performance exhaust from an HP420 which doesn't have the water entering at the elbow from the T-stat housing. How can I block off the two ports that are not going to be used on the housing now?

Pics would be helpful but IF it is what I think I have seen where people have installed a "Y" and ran both hoses.
The 420's I have seen had both hoses? Go figure?

Yes, you can use rubber caps with hose clamps. Or, get another set of housing without the extra ports.

Ditto to above. I went the extra set and got a used 4 port unit vs the 6 and had it nicely powdercoated black. Looks alot cleaner IMHO. Less hoses too.
