Velocity 280
Just wondering if anyone out there has tried to stuff a blown intercooled big block in there velocity? I have a 1995 Velocity 280 and next week my new engine will be done. It is a 555 fuel injected big block with a b&m 420 and a super chiller under that. I was hoping that I could keep the boat as stealth looking as possible, but dont want to hurt the performance of the new engine. I was hoping that someone out there could inform me of what they have done thanks for the help.

I know of a 1997 Model 260 with a BM 420 Blower on it and alot of other work up near 750hp and I hear it runs Low 90's...

Do you know if he has a super chiller on it or is it just a 420 supercharger on the manifold? Off my center line of the crankshaft I'm 32 " to the top of the throttle bodies, so by the time I put on a air cleaner I am going to be way up there. I was hoping that someone out there had some pics or some info that could help me out. I talked to Steve Stepp for a min the other day and said that he has a lot of customers out there that are doing the same thing. Just trying to gather as much info as possible before I start cutting on my boat. :bigsmile:
