Saw a good article in P-boy about the advantages of drinking vodka......

I am a big fan of it, love it straight up with a couple olives, or mixed with a nice tonic.

How about you, are you avodka fan?

Have you had Vodka from Russia?

My wife brought some back as a request for a guy at work who loves the stuff. He said it was the smoothest Vodka that he ever had and wanted to know if he could get some more.
Why yes, yes I have. And it is awesome.

They do not mess around with there vodka.

we just opened a plant in Russia, I am trying to get over to "help"
Vodka and lemonade...favorite summer cocktail.
vodka IS good for you. I make sure I put a little fruit in it too 3 olives to be exact.
I`m more of a beer guy, but the wife loves Vodka and OJ.
Vodka is my FAVORITE! :D
I named my business after a vodka. Absolut Tile Inc, spelled just like the vodka. You don't know how bad I wished I spelled it the other way. I always have to spell it to my suppliers, because some have it in there computers the way I spell it, and some of them don't. :( I always tell them spelled just like the vodka. :D
Yup, I guess you could say we have an affection for it.

On a more serious note. I like to think my wife and I are both connoisseurs of the vodka martini. We've tried all of them. Some years ago we discovered KUTSKOVA, a modestly priced Russian vodka that unfortunately is very hard to find. I've yet to find a bar or restaurant that has it.

Here is a write up on the product from a fairly critical group of evaluators.

KUTSKOVA — Russian KUTSKOVA VODKA is made in the heart of Moscow. It is double distilled in small batches from grain and soft spring water. The vodka is filtered five times through birch charcoal and diamond quartz sand. Kutskova is faintly aromatic with a lightweight body, clean, mostly neutral palate and a crisp finish. Priced in the low twenties, it’s among the best imported values on the market.

If you want to try it you probably need to ask for it. Generally it is tucked away in a corner somewhere!

This is what the bottle looks like.

Cheers!

Hey, that was easy. Popped right up on Google.

We also enjoy Vodka, in the freezer right now we have Grey Goose.
I also love my Vodka. Mostly Grey Goose, or Kettle One but have tried many different ones over the years.
Vodka - the drink that refereshes!
Mainly mix with tonic but love a dirty martini or with red bull for a pick me up.
We like the goose, but try belvedere. It's from Poland, I think it's distilled from rye. It's got a bit of a different taste, but still very good. Great looking bottle too.
If I'm drinking it straight, I prefer Absolut or Grey Goose from the freezer, if I'm making a mixed drink, I use the cheaper stuff... :D

Anyone ever try Pshenychna Vodka ??
I was given the rifle shaped bottled Vodka as a gift, and was pretty good stuff too.. and I used to drink Stoli 100 proof chilled in the freezer too...but it got too expensive after awhile..
