Big decision here! I'm considering a vortech supercharger on my carbed 454. Here's the information from Trick. attaching the info sheet from Vortech. It shows varying amounts of horsepower ranging from 500 to 1000 on 454 carb applications. It depends on how much boost and stress you're willing to put on the motor. For longevity, I'd say you may want to keep it in the 550 to 600 hp range.
