What is the difference

What is the major difference between a 502 MPI 415 HP and a 500 EFI.

Actually, only 55 HP. The 500EFI is rated at 470HP.

Actually, 85 is pretty close. Even though the HP500 is rated at 470 at the prop most of them dynoed at the crank in the 510-515 range while most 502MPIs only dynoed at about 420-425 at the crank.
