What paint

Hey folks. Just picked my boat up from the detailer and the oxidizing would not come out from wet sanding. Time for paint. I will be painting a stripe on the deck black and the sides black. What do you suggest I have sprayed? Does anyone know a place in South Jersey? THX

well if you are talking about auto paint you can choose from all sorts of brands......

ppg, HOK, dupont, sikkens, matrix, emron etc. I have had good luck out of all the major brands....

If you talking about marine type paint such as allgrip I have no idea

the only thing I would say use caution about would be the black stripe on the top deck. that sucker will get hotter than a skillet setting in the sun. easy to burn a fanny if you set on it without knowing. just my thoughts.
paint

Iv used Du Pont base coat , clear coat with real good results I owned the boat for 4 years and it was in the sun allmost every day looked great the day I sold it

watch spraying emron..... its really bad stuff. You need a seperate air system to spray not just a respirator

by the way guy's it is imron . I have to say that i use Imron alot , very durable paint & has a great shine . i do not know how much you have sprayed imron because it is a very wet paint & if you have ever sprayed Awlgrip you can spray imron , i do not want to short change you on imron because it can be a real bear to buff . :) and i hope everyone had a safe and great holiday  :drinker: :a2:

AwlGrip can be tricky over larger areas especially. Very wet and definitely different that spraying conventional paints for sure
