I'm replacing the center plywood over the gas tank. I want to resin that board and the rest of the floor in my Lib. The old floor seems like it has some resin on it already can I scuff sand that part and reapply resin to it? What Resin should I use...Epoxy or ? Thanks Dave

Hey Dave how the project coming? Sorry dont know much about resin. I would like to know too cause I want to do the same thing in mine next year.
Hey SE,
Haven't done much yet as the weather has been crap, I have the new plywood cut for over the tank, and I bought the new rug...The rear seat should be done next week...I still have lots to do
So if anyone can give me some direction on what resin I should use and if I should reresin the old floor...Thanks
I'm not to well versed in this area either, but everything I've ever heard/read reccomends costing it in resin.

and the weather has been total crap I put my boat in two weeks ago and haven't been able to get anything done to it. It was either raining or about to rain.

Where are you in New York ??? I'm in Rochester
I use and recomend epoxy for everything but it is a little more costly and they make other resin's , such as vnyl , poly , and G P resin ( general purpose ) which is probably the cheapest out of all the resin's . I have to say that if you want and need the resin right now you could most likely get it at West marine, Bondo make's a polyester resin called boatyard resin and sell's around $38 dollars a gallon with hardner ( mek ) or epoxy West System for around $ 150. a gallon after you buy the hardner & mixing pump's .
If you really want true Expert advise, I would suggest you talk to This guy 1st, and I think he has the Best prices around, I had dealt with him for too many years I care to count, even before he started this company.. :)

Now you can pic and choose not just one
