What works best for you when shaving

just a cheap old throw a way, and dry

Been using an electric shaver for years. Can't see going back to shaving with a razor.
My 2¢

King of Shaves and a good disposable razor. Mach 3 or
Quattro. Sometimes I use Olive Oil as a pre-shave.

A little gel and a mach 3 blade.

I do water with electric and then water with 2 blade. any gel make my neck look like a strawberry patch.

Mach 3 and Noxema shaving cream works best for me.

I like to use gel and that mach 3 turbo the one that vibrates, feels good.


There is an old school Italian barbershop by me and the barber does the old style shaves with the hot towels and straight blade. best shave money can buy !!

im lazy. I never remember to buy shaving cream so I just use whatever kind of soap I have......


I have to shave in the shower. My beard is so freakin tough if I shave at a sink without softening up the hair with warm water and soap it hurts like a beotch and I bleed all over the place..

I use a Schick disposable in the shower, lathered up with Dove soap. Works for me.
I`ve been wanting an electric shaver. I tried one back several years ago and it didn`t do a good job. With today`s technology, I hear electric shavers are very good. Been thinking about buying a Braun.

everyone thinks i'm crazy shaving with a blade and water only.
seems when i use any kind of soap or cream the blade cuts me

Me too. Buy them in bulk at BJ's, Sam's Club, or Custco.

shave cream and the same blade for 1.5 years now...mach 224 or whatever) Hope I dont have to change it cause this one came in the mail for free..

Ill change when another free one comes along

well it depends on what I'm shaving, because when I help my girlfriend shave her......oh you get the idea. :laugher:

Used to shave before shower, now after. HUGE difference. Try it once and see. Not only that blades last much longer. Once you do it once you won't go back

Mach 3 in the shower, only after I have washed my face.

Makes a huge difference if you do it in the shower. I will NEVER shave without showering first, and softening the skin, and hair.

I shave in the shower at the end after it has softened up a bit. Just get a good shaving mirror although I usually just shave blind. Its not like I cant find my face
I use regular bar soap and a good disposable. The hot shower opens you pores and lets you get a little closer. I have real sensitive skin and this is the only thing that works for me. Saves a lot of time as well.
