Bored at work, so.... assuming you had the dinero, which one would you pick, a Cig TS Top Gun or 37 Outer Limits? Assuming stock 525's and XR (maybe ITS) drives?

The way I see it, both are custom boats with impeccable rigging. OL will probably be faster, the Gun will have the big red 1 on the side. Styling is new age rounded on the OL, timeless old school Miami on the Cig.

Whaddya think?

Top Gun all the way. especially on how much the OL breaks, all the people i know that have em are in the shop half of the supper. but but but, before i get some negative comments back, i would take the GTX of a cigarette.

NEW POLL IDEA--------
47 Outerlimits GTX or
45 Cigarette Maximus

i dont know the answer to that one myself, thats a tough one for me, maybe the cigarette beacuse no one has it yet. Its very different even though the OL dash looks like a Porsche on the inside, i love that.

In the shop "half of the "supper""? Those are some faaaast mechanics :D:D:D

It's most likely that the OL's break more because they have big(ger) power than the Cigs you know of.

This is such an easy dream. Both boats are great. I want a cabin, so the choice is easy for me, and likely easy for most to choose their favorite.

A challenge is to say that you have the money to buy either boat, but could you refrain from buying one and not being in this crazy hobby? Now THAT is a dream. LOL!

having make the decision myself.... I would take the OL - however I would not underestimate the technology and hull design of the Cigarette and the craftmanship and quality.

having owned both there is a little more attention to detail on the OL, but the difference is not dramatic.
Jeff, you can't compare 100% becuase you had a straight bottom TG. The new T/S is soo much different and soo much better than the old bottom.

My $.02

The day you pull up to a gas station with your boat and someone says, "Is that one of them Outerlimits boats?", I'll buy one.
We think differently about that.

That is one negative for me about Cigs, is that you see so many, and everybody asks that stupid question. If someone asked me if it is a cigarette boat I would get to say nope, its not, then have the person look at me like I didn't know what I was talking about, and then I could have some fun with 'em. :laugher:

I like to have something different. They are great boats obviously, just not nearly as original as other boat brands. The other reason Cigs turn me off is the cabin, or lack there of. So my choice is OL.

If the Cigs had a full cabin, then they would definitely be in the top 3-4 boat choices!
