went out yesterday, boat ran flawless, temps are 160-165 running, oil pressure is 40-45, motor sounds perfect,
20 mile run across the bay, no problems, 20 mile run back, when I came off plane, my knock sensor alarm was going off, I putted around after that, some idle and some runs up to 4K, never went off after that.
this is a rebuilt 502, we tested alll the injectors when we re-built the motor, everything is firing, everything was gine through and checked before we reassembled the motor,
I havent changed my water separator yet and the boat sat for 2 months with a full tank, I have put 10 hrs on it since the new motor, I will change the WS today and check the plugs,
Any ideas?
