cfm, you can add me to the list 1998 Triad V-21 with GPI racing 280hp Mercury. Don't have the seat time yet to reach top end yet which I am told should be around 112-113 mph. Fastest to date is 87.2 @6000 rpms. Limiter is at 7750.

My Checkmate 229 Maxxum with a 502 / 500HP couple of summers ago, ran 76 on radar with 2 guys, full cooler (Water and Soda) and a Âľ tank of gas. I might be able go a little faster; however at this speed, the boat can be a handful, and can get out of shape quickly.
I’ll GPS it next time out.

slapshot - your in. I almost had to disqualify you, not because of radar - that's fine - but you had water and soda in the cooler, with no mention of beers. :laugher: :laugher: :laugher: :laugher:

Now that sounds exciting.
Nice boat.

I stated V hull with inboard/outboard. I may have confused some people with typing it this way.

I edited it to I/O (sterndrive)

No descredit to your boat or others. We know that these Micro Outboards can really turn up the heat.

Again, just trying to get those with small I/O 's more involved.

Update: After typing above I rechecked the list and found 3 outboards. Sorry - I must have gotten stuck on the cool factor of these three - old CV 16, Minihawk, and some little weird boat that scores well with the ladies.

Fare is fare.

I repaired my brain farts.

Let me correct myself on information I provided earlier. Boat will run faster than 65 but it is absolutely terrifying in the big water that I have to play in. however the speed is verified by gps and it will run 64.7 at around 5000 rpm. (Not real sure of the accuracy of the Tach). I run a 21 inch mercury marine cleaver with a 1.36 gear ratio (Alpha for a big block). There is alot more throttle but I honestly am afraid to use it.

I've owned this boat since new (1988) and used to run on a small lake in Northern Idaho, but I never could verify the speed because the speedo only went to 65, and we know how accurate those are, and at the time knew no one with a hand held GPS.

Just wanted to make sure I was being honest and not put in the sandbagger file.

Me - other than a Bowtie intake. Still Merc.
Stock flame arrestor, carb, yada, yada, yada.

Can you believe it? Maybe this winter it will go under the knife.

Someday I'll beat 35.

anyone know the actual hull length of a H2X? 24' boat which I assume includes the integrated swim platform. Im guessing that would put me damn near the 23' length taking away the platform .

496HO, labbed 25P 74.1mph GPS

Motor is currently out of the boat having a Raylar Big Power kit installed. Hoping for 83-84mph after the install

I'm running a stock HP500 carb, but the boat came with a 7.4mpi...

Probably the guy in the group with the most horsepower with a Merc outdrive is Boatally Insane. He's running just under 600hp at the crank!!!

I didn't count the wildman Geoo!! I don't know how much he has, but it must be tremendous!
