How far to your Boat?

I'm curious.... How far do some of you travel to get to your boat for a ride? Is your boat docked right in front of your home? Do your trailer everytime you use it? If so how far away is the ramp or marina where you start from your home?

Seems to me the bigger the boat the better it is not to have to trailer it everytime you use it.... Your Thoughts?

Boat stored a mile away. Trailer it from there to Cass Lk. 5min, Union Lk 5min, White Lk 15min and Torch Lk 4 1/2 hrs. Wash and wiper it down before and after each use in the driveway. Homeowners association doesn't like it in the driveway more than 24 hrs... They sure love it when I fire it up too :D

My regular marina is about 15 minutes away. I have a covered shelter for my boat there, which comes in handy on those late nights coming off the lake and I don't think I should be towing home. But I usually trailer it. I like to keep an eye on it in my yard.

Here is my covered storage at the marina. About 100 yards from the ramp. For $150 for the season I get unlimited launch pass and this covered storage....with power and water hookup. I don't use it much but it does come in handy.

My shanty is two bays down from Andretti with the same deal, but when not there it's at the shop, where I can keep an eye on it and clean it.
