interesting. from looking at the interior I could not tell a difference. I would really be currious what is different.

thats a 29 OL,

but the 290s were early 90s bajas more on the performance series style, windshield, molded swim deck etc. not sure on the deadrise my 280 had 24 degree with twin BBC

 

Big difference between the two boats. A 290 has a different hull, different cabin, pretty much different everything. As mentioned, it is a 21* deadrise boat, and is considered more of a lake boat.
Not worth near as much comparatively as a 29 Outlaw as well

Okay then is that boat in the ebay add a 29ol or a 290. the guy says a 290 outlaw. to me it looks like a 29 ol

 

It is a 98 29 Outlaw. First year for them.
Last year for the 290s was 97.

 

Also those bolsters have been HORRIBLY redone

Won't do 74 with those motors either. It will with 502 mags, but not with stock 7.4mpis.

 

There is a buddy of mine with te 454 mag mpi's here and that boat does lower 70's. SO I think upper 60's for this one.

I think it LOOKS very clean actually, agree about the poor upholstery job, but that is new as well? Not a bad thing.

If you like it, go look at it. Talk him into throwing in the trailer

Doesnt say how many hours are on the boat.

My dad has a 1993 290 with 502's. Boat runs a best of 74. Not the best riding in extremely rough conditions, but perfect for our river. The 290 has a 9' or 9.5' beam which makes it huge in comparison to any other performance boat in its class.
