I was sitting in my "library" the other day reading an old POWERBOAT magazine and I thought of Jeff. This issue had a test/review of a Cigarette 38 Top Gun F-2 racer. Now folks, this is one bad boat! As nice as this boat was, it pales in comparison to Jeff`s. This was an F-2 boat without the cover girl cabin and had twin HP500`s. It radared at 81 mph @ 5200 rpm. This magazine was from back in 2000, this boat could be yours, race-ready for only $293,874.
Have you seen this issue Jeff? It is January 2000 POWERBOAT...

yea... I have seen this boat and the issue.

It is one bad boat....

$293k ???? Not for me...

I've seen too many 1 to 2 year Cigarette Twin Step top guns that are selling for over $100k less than the original owners paid for them - that works for me :)

Jeff, my 9 yr old son got a better deal than that. He picked up his Cigarette Tiger for $79. Toys R Us was having a sale that week. He bought an extra battery and charger and still came out under $100 !!!
But seriously, you should see that thing in 1-2 chop! :laugher:

I'll try to take a pic of my Prather Lap Cat II hydro this weekend. It wound up costing me a lot more than your son's Cigarette but the more you make the more you spend on toys. It's tucked away carefully on a shelf in the garage. It doesn't take waves very well, but man that things can haul supreme butt across smooth water. I am sure you boy has as much fun with his little boat as I do with my little bad boy.

ciao!

It`s kinda funny how a father influences his son, or do you guys think that maybe they are just born with the genes already? I am a boatnut (No, not that:gunner: Boatnut) a car nut and I love Rock music. Funny thing is my son is a boatnut, a car nut and he loves Rock music.
Anyway, he loves to play with this little Cig. He really likes to get out in the rough and see it catch some air. You know the saying: The only difference between men and boys is the size of their toys!

I was afraid she was going to say something about their "tools"
That's funny because when I first responded, I said the only difference between men and boys is their 'size', but that sounded kind of pornographic... maybe it's because I was watching the Dateline special on Mary Kay Laturno and her 13 year old student/lover... so I changed it to 'age'! :D
