Thanks for all the replies, but it looks like this project may not go through afterall. Me and my brother were planning on doing this up as partners. The plan was to do all the work ourselves and make a budget-built poker run fun machine.
When our wives caught wind of our plan, everything came to a halt.....

So who let the wimmin-folk in on the plan??? The first clue they should have is an extra boat in the yard!

It is much easier to ask for forgiveness afterwards than permission beforehand! :dead1: :dead1: :dead1:

Found a "Project". Owner says it needs the transom replaced, as in: rotted / soft / wet....
How difficult is the job ? Is it something I could do ?
Also, the engines / drives / transom assbly have all been removed. I can build engines. Where is a good source for transom assemblys ? Should I go Bravo or TRS or ?
30' Profile, former race boat. Was set up for twin BBC and Bravos.

How old is the boat? My friend is having the transom done on his 29 Profile, Hmmmmm. Buyer BEWARE....
