My neighbor has been running a very healthy small block with NOS through an Alpha SS for 15 years. he runs the boat medium.....and has rebuilt the drive twice in that time, but never actually had a failure.

I saw a 1978 Challenger with a 434 that had an alpha that does 85 gps owned by a 65 year old man.He has been through 4 engines and never lost a drive.I see no reason for him to lie.

It is still up in the air what is going on. But if i make it down no one will boat with me ( boat broke) I have to use my back up ride. And i know most boaters hate them, so will boat by my self in a little cove. :laugher:

Ive know Roger Purdy and his brother Mike for a long time.. And their dad before he passed away.. Havent hung out with them in awhile tho.. We did alot of street racing with mike back in the day with his Nova and our hoopties... Even spent the night outside the impound yard with Mike when he refused to let the car out of his site when we got busted racing in Chatsworth..

We leave tommorrow AM for a week in Beach Haven... i was thinking of running back here to home to grab the boat after we are settled in, but i doubt it will be on the weekend..
