Box stock 97 Blackbird, had her 10 years this April. If memory serves me correct, my best run was 10.9 @ 136. But would have to find the time slip to confirm. My reaction time sucks, and I am too pu$$y to launch it hard. but it is consistantly high 120, to low 130 mph, in the low to mid 11's. Also passed an R1, and 954 on the inside of (I cannot remember the turn, down in the hole 180 and comes back up the hill.) at Louden road course, Penguin racing school back in 2000, or early 01. No one passed me there except the instructors, but they had EX 500's, and one had a 426 Yamaha enduro. Talk about an ego killer

it's very cool and VERY VERY VERY fast.

I like the 916 better....

it's a little too tech for me and I'd be afraid to ride it on a track where it belongs - because it certainly does not belong on the street - no more than a Formula One car belomgs on the street

any why own a Replica you can can own a REAL race bike built in the race shop at Ducati ?

I'll wait ten years and buy Troy Bayliss's REAL DESMOSEDICI - I like owning bikes with history.
