damn man thats a fat DUC!!!!

what part of pocano do they run bikes on??? I was there over the summer with formula continetal and they run the starigh the big bank the back straight over the tunnel turn and into the infield and cut off teh final big bank. I brought my biekup with me in eth back of my truck and after the car race was over ran through the infield a few times up by teh garages. It was fun as hell!!!! But cars really are safer.

Do you still have any race bikes left???

also the track here was bridgehampton,. And its damn shame they closed it!!!

Bridgehampton Raceway: hey Puder...

I was there the last weekend they had motorcycles racers there. It was 1996. Some guys pulled in behind me with a nice trailer that had "Suicide Racing" written on the side. I was married at the time and my ex-wife commented to me how she'd never choose a name like that for a race team. I met both of the guys...really nice guys that both had Honda 600's painted to match.

In the middle of the afternoon on Sunday they red flagged a race because of a bad crash in turn 9 (which is a sweeping right hander). One of the guys from Suicide Racing had crashed there I later found out and went right into the trees about 60 feet from the side of the track. He hit one head on and it was not a pretty sight from what the ambulance guys told me later on. He was a fireman from somewhere in North Jersey and he died that day. I still remember the ambulance folks picking up his girlfriend and partner and taking them to the hospital. When we left that night to drive home his truck and trailer were the only things left in the sandy parking lot. That made for a really sobering experience and really saddened things even more when adding it to the closing of the track. Bridgehamptom was where I learned to race and it was a bumpy difficult track. It was fast and very dangerous. I can't think of a better place to learn how to go fast and grow big balls. That place sure tested you and took a few lives and limbs along the way.

Currently have 3 :D , unfortunatly can only ride 1 :( . I have:

2001 Kawasaki ZX12 (Canadian model, unrestricted)

1995 Suzuki RF900

1997 Kawasaki EX500 (Bought for Tracy, but she never really got into it) 1600 miles and for sale.

Nothing like a little speed. The only gripe I have is that I'm 40 yrs old and still expected to pay the same rate for insurance as a 16 year old kid with no riding experience, whereas I have 34 years of riding.

And the 2 Kawasakis. If you really are in to going fast and want to try something with unbelieveable torque, go try the 12 or the Busa. Going from my 900 to this bike was like going from a Vespa to a 600. I think my buddy with the 900rr is ready for an upgrade. Drives him nuts when I go blowing past him. Not as good going through the corners, but I'm more of a get on the freeway and blasting around kind of person. :chase:

Alrighty, a good ole Norton !!! :D
Never had one, but was always on the wish list ! :)
Stu....let me tell you. When people saw this bike - they smiled. When you rode it, you smiled. This bike would go further in 1st gear than any bike I ever owned. It was great. I did a frame up restoration of the entire bike in 91 & 92...new high compression pistons, new valves, new gears, boyer electronic ignition, akront rims and SS spokes...It was beautiful. Sold it for $5,500 in 94 to a Doctor from Atlantic City. He died a year later and it was sold in an estate sale.

This is the last bike I had, 2000 ZX9R, first Black bike in Houston. I ordered it about 6 months out. Just sold to Mike Green of the Tennessee Titans. Since 98 I have been a ZX9R freak and have always had one. I have a bad habit of getting 2or3 of the same thing for no reason. I had a 1998 ZX9R and a 1999 GSXR750. Sold them then got the 2000 ZX9R and a GSXR 750 3 weeks later, both were brand new models so I could'nt resist. Then sold the GSXR 750 for a 1000 when those came out. My favorite was the ZX9R, most comfortable, still scary fast, wife fit on the back comfortably, and NO PROBLEMS AT ALL. The Suzuki's were warranty night mares.....
