Just wondering how many Four Winns Liberator owners are out there? don't hear much about them here. I got a 88 liberator with twin 350's and alphas. I got the motors out for a freshining up over the winter :winker: .
Shack,Steve,
So that's what the guts look like under there? I'm itching like a bad rash of poison ivy to get mine out.
I go to where its stored once every couple of weeks just to look and sit in it and have an adult beverage. :laugher:
This weather has been rough to say the least. Lakes are up and so is the trash floating around in the water.
Hate to risk something happening even if i did get out.
You might of pick a good time to tear yours down buddy.
You still have my number? I could call you to get an address to see how far it is from Dayton
I been truck shopping lately to get ready for hauling that moster around.
Ed,steve,
looks like yours has side exh. without the blisters. how did you route the hoses and what did you use for material.
thanks ed
9k for that? It looks like crap. I guess mine should be at 25k then.....
I paid significantly less than that for my Libby...with a 502...9k for that? It looks like crap. I guess mine should be at 25k then.....

Probably one of those deals, wife says SELL IT! Hubby says I am trying.........:winker:
And +1 on your nice boat.
I bought my boat pretty cheap in the middle of the winter without even starting the engines AND it was sitting on the second level of rack storage. My wife was not to happy with the purchase, but it has turned out to be great boat and a blast to drive (241 w/twin 350 Mags). I was thinking about selling it, but the prices have dropped and I really am not in the position to buy what I really want. So as of now, I plan on keeping it and enjoying what I have. I took the day off today to start putting it back together. I hope to make some great progress!
I've seen 62mph on a GPS. I have different props now, but I gave the GPS back. It is definately a handful to drive.Steve,
What kind of speeds do you see out of your 241 with twins? Just wondering if those ran with the 261 twins with BB's, growing up my father had a 261 with 454's and it was damn near a 70mph boat....but that was before GPS so who really knows. In that boat you could get SB's or twin ford or chevy BB's. I know the chevy's were faster than the ford because my uncle had the exact same boat with fords, and by dad always gave him crap about it. Not much faster, just enough for some razzing

The 241's I would assume are a 60-64mph boat but don't really know...
Nice boat, kinda pricey, you'll need to find the right buyer. It's that time of year!Have my 211 Lib up for Sale in Classifieds. Might trade for truck of equal value.

Hey, the right person comes along that appreciates it, you may get it. It's way better to start high then have the first person that comes along offer you cash for the amount of your asking price...then you'll really regret it! It makes me miss my 87 211, after that you get to deal with OMC like I am doing now....I updated starting price of $13,500... And am always willing to consider an offer...![]()
