I own a 1998 Wrangler Sport, and I have to agree with US1, it will pull anything. It is rock solid, but it is rather light.

I just returned from the US Virgin Islands and rented a 2007 Wrangler there. WHAT A POS!!!
Just walk up to any new one, and push on the hood. Boonka, boonka. IT PUSHES IN! I sat my daughter on the hood and it STAYED PUSHED IN!!!
I opened the hood and pushed up on the huge dent, and POP, it popped back out, but it still was kind of there.
AND one of the huge plastic fender flairs broke off when my daughter stood on it to climb in the rear side...She's been doing that with my 98 for almost a decade without a problem.
Plus, the whole thing is now computer controlled. Turn the key, and it knows when and how long to turn the motor over to start it. Hit the turn signal lever slightly, and it flashes the turn signals for a LONG time.
I hate it. It drives like a car. Far too mushy off road.
We took it on really vertical dirt roads on St. Johns island, and it sways way too much. It was almost scary.
The top would not seal in the front, and this had a little over 3k miles on it. The radio is far better though, but had these fugly little stand up tweeters on the dash, just waiting to be broken off....
The gas mileage is worse than mine, too. We went around 160 miles and the tank was EMPTY. Granted, this was rarely over 30mph, and almost all was up and down hills on the islands, but that is horrible...
I'll take my SOLID 1998 Wrangler any day over that POS.
Just my 2 cents...
